CinePunks Terms and Conditions

1. Service owner

CinePunks is a mobile application for movies and TV series. The service is provided by Proto Massimo. For service-related communications, contact max.magnus.dev@gmail.com.

2. Service description

CinePunks lets users browse information about movies, TV series, episodes, people, reviews, news and related content; create and manage lists; mark content as watched, favorite or in a watchlist; follow Trakt-linked social profiles; and sync selected activity with Trakt.

3. Acceptance of terms

By using CinePunks, the user accepts these Terms and Conditions. Users who do not accept them should stop using the app.

4. Account, authentication and Trakt

Some features require Trakt login. Authentication uses an OAuth/deep link flow and the CinePunks backend. The user is responsible for their Trakt account and for using the app in compliance with Trakt terms.

CinePunks may allow users to access or modify, through APIs, items linked to their Trakt account, including watchlist, favorites, history, progress, reviews, comments, reactions, lists and social relationships.

5. Rules of use

The user agrees not to:

• use CinePunks for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or rights-infringing activities;
• publish offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, violent or unauthorized content;
• attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, APIs or data;
• interfere with the operation of the app, backend or connected third-party services;
• bypass technical limits, quotas, security systems or authentication mechanisms.

6. User content

Users may create or submit lists, descriptions, reviews, comments, replies and reactions. Users remain responsible for the content they publish or submit and confirm they have the rights needed to share it.

7. Third-party services and content

CinePunks uses data, images, metadata or features from third-party services, including Trakt, TMDB, OMDb, Fanart.tv, NewsAPI and Supabase. Those services may apply their own terms, limitations, availability rules, licenses and policies.

8. Intellectual property

CinePunks trademarks, logos, interface, app structure, code and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws unless otherwise stated. Third-party content remains owned by its respective owners.

9. Availability and changes

CinePunks may be updated, modified, suspended or discontinued, in whole or in part, for maintenance, technical limits, third-party service changes or security needs.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CinePunks is provided "as is" and "as available". The owner does not guarantee that the service will always be error-free, uninterrupted or free from inaccurate content. Users use the app at their own responsibility.

11. Suspension or termination

The owner may limit, suspend or terminate user access in case of violation of these terms, abusive use, security risks, lawful authority requests or technical needs.

12. Privacy

Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of the information provided to users.

13. Changes to these terms

The owner may update these Terms and Conditions. The updated version will be published on this page with the last updated date.

14. Applicable law and contact

Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, these terms are governed by Italian law. For requests, reports or disputes, contact max.magnus.dev@gmail.com.
